Dan Flavin & Parrish Art Museum

NeueHouse Members participated in a weekend visit to East End of Long Island to explore two of its most renowned sites for arts and culture: The Parish Museum and The Dan Flavin Institute. Parrish Art Museum welcomed us for a viewing of Abstract Climates: Helen Frankenthaler in Provincetown, with a tour by Parrish Director Terrie Sultan and a talk by the Frankenthaler Foundation and the artist’s stepdaughter, Lise Motherwell. We also stopped in at the Dan Flavin Art Institute for its Jacqueline Humphries exhibit, debuting new works by the abstract painter, presented by Dia Art Foundation.
