A Live Table Read

Award-winning non-profit and member Ghetto Film School hosted their annual live table reading on the NeueHouse Hollywood rooftop. Dedicated to developing youthful voices in narrative filmmaking, Ghetto Film Schools annual gathering provides in-person feedback to scripts written by its 14-17-year-old students. NeueHouse Member Stosh Mintek, and CEO of Ghetto Film School, sat down with us prior to the Table read:

“Spending a day in the classroom, you get to see the future of American storytelling up close and their wildly ambitious ideas.”

Students were joined by David O. Russell, Max Greenfield, Alfre Woodard, Ben Schwartz, Emily Gordon, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Lance Reddick, Edi Gathegi, Taika Waititi, Paul Eckstein, Allen Maldonado, Ghetto Film School CEO Stosh Mintek and VP of Development for National Geographic Hugh Fitzpatrick, who read two scripts that will be shot this summer by a student-run production team in Rome, Italy and at The Frick Collection.
