Screening: Oliver Jeffers – A short film by Bas Berkhout

NeueHouse hosted a screening of this short film about children’s illustrator and artist Oliver Jeffers, directed by Dutch filmmaker Bas Berkhout. In this intimate portrait, Berkhout portrays Jeffers’ family story and talks about the duality in his work that stems from growing up in Belfast during troubled political times. The film also explored the responsibilities that come with new parenthood. Jeffers and Berkhout were present during the screening, and in conversation with Mac Premo.
