Performance: Acoustic Set by Eugene Hütz and Gogol Bordello

Madison Square

07 September, 2017

Over six albums, the dazzling Ukranian-born musician Eugene Hütz has fused Western rock, Gypsy jazz, and Ukrainian folk to spectacular effect. “An orchestra of fucking immigrants, jamming in A minor,” as Hütz describes his band, Gogol Bordello. They may be the band we need for these times–defiant world citizens, drawing their influences from wide and far. Hütz and the band performed an unplugged set of songs from their seventh album following a discussion with Casey Spooner on the influences and passions that have shaped his musical journey.
