Offsite: Marciano Foundation

Los Angeles’ thriving museum landscape expanded this month with the opening of the Marciano Art Foundation. Conceived as an ‘Art City’ by GUESS co-founders Paul and Maurice Marciano, the highly-anticipated institution exhibits contemporary painting, sculpture and photography along with installation, performance and multimedia works. Many of the works are site-specific commissions responding to the building, whose renovations were steered by Kulapat Yantrasast of wHY Architecture. NeueHouse members got a special access tour before the museum opened to the public on May 25th.
