Museum Tour: The Met Breuer

After a year and a half of anticipation, the revered Metropolitan Museum of Art has finally taken over the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Marcel Breuer building on Madison Ave, promising to broaden and deepen its involvement with modern and contemporary art. Their exhibition, “Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible” examines unfinished works from the 15th century to the present, further expanding on the idea of incompleteness. Fellow members went on a guided private walk-through of the Met’s new wing before it opened to the public later in the day.
