Lost Recordings: Uncovering Thelonious Monk with Devialet

Madison Square

August 09, 2018

We joined Devialet and Fondamenta for a second installment of our listening series The Lost Recordings, which brings exceptional recordings on the verge of extinction back to life with cutting-edge technologies. This month, we paid homage to the forgotten melodies of the talented Thelonious Monk, who disappeared from the music scene at age 65, spending his final 6 years in New York where he never touched a piano again.
