Breakfast: The Met Dance Resident, Gallim

Madison Square

12 October, 2017

On October 28 & 29 2017, Stone Skipping premiered at The Met. Andrea Miller, choreographer, founder, and artistic director at Gallim is the first choreographer as Artist in Residence at The Met, kicking off a series of new works designed to engage the galleries and spaces. Stone Skipping is a site-specific work for The Temple of Dendur. We welcomed the dancers for an exclusive preview of this unprecedented premiere with a talkback, excerpts from the film Chasing Coral, and a performance from Gallim dancers.
