Chagall’s Granddaughter, Bella Meyer: The Art of Floral Arrangements

Madison Square

August 10, 2016

Members joined us as we partnered with The Flower School New York, and celebrated their master teacher Bella Meyer, who was born in Paris and grew up immersed in art and painting. She walked us through the secrets and steps of creating flower arrangements much in the way an artist paints, just as she watched her grandfather, Marc Chagall, paint bouquets that brought joy to the world. Meyer focused the demonstration on Stravinsky’s ballet, The Firebird, which had sets and costumes designed by her legendary relative.
