Brutalist Tea Party with Frederick Gautier

Inspired by Le Corbusier and the Bauhaus school, Parisian artist and designer Frederick Gautier is drawn to the minimalism of raw form and functionality. NeueHouse members joined the artist for a Brutalist Tea Party – a special avant-garde breakfast showcasing the artist’s raw ceramic Brutalist teapots which were on view at DTLA’s Please Do Not Enter from February 3–March 15, 2016. This was be the first exhibition of Gautier’s work in North America. An unusual Brutalist-inspired menu by NeueHouse Executive Chef Mark Pollard was also featured.
