A young African American man, reeling from the tragic loss of his wife, travels to rural Maine to seek answers from his estranged mother-in-law, who is herself confronting guilt and grief over her daughter’s death. Featuring David Oyelowo, Dianne West, and Rosie Perez, Five Nights in Maine explores the impact of tragedy, discovering secrets, and the meaning of family. Members joined us for a pre-release screening of this film, that has taken over the festival circuits, followed by a conversation with Director/Producer Maris Curran and Producer Carly Hugo.
