Shifting gears on day two of Frieze Week in New York, NeueHouse played host to a respite from the festivities with a live performance and workshop featuring the multidisciplinary artist Juan Miguel Marin.
Working over a sheet of paper laid out on the floor, Marin created a large-scale improvised drawing in black ink to a meditative environmental soundscape by his collaborator-in-sound, Andres Leon. From there, the assembled group took part in a guided workshop exploring the meditative world of experimental mark making with Marin as their guide.
