Miami's year-round thriving arts and culture scene gets a little bit louder, brighter, and bolder each December with the arrival of over 20 art fairs representing over 1,200 galleries and thousands of artists. For one week everyone from the curious casual observer to the networking industry insider can allow themselves to get swept away from their everyday routines to a place where they can, however briefly, enjoy the rapture of a brave creative otherworld on the grandest stage. ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH

The flagship fair of Miami Art Week and behemoth of the global art scene, this is the 101 of art fairs, featuring significant works alongside emerging stars in the modern and contemporary art world.

Furniture, lighting and objets d’art. Design Miami, conveniently next door to Art Basel, is known for its varied collectables, bringing together some of the most influential designers in the decorative arts world.
