NeueHouse was proud to give NeueHouse members the unique opportunity to watch acclaimed dancers from L.A. Dance Project rehearse excerpts from a series of Merce Cunningham works that the dancers presented at The Hammer Museum February 20th. Celebrated artist, James Welling, whose photographic series Choreograph opened at Regen Projects on February 19th, joined LA Dance Project’s Managing Director, James Fayette, in a special conversation about the rehearsal process – a space which gives way to the possibility for falls, failure and, when everything comes together, creative transcendence.
