Native Sessions took us inside the creative process of modern day musical scoring. The evening explored the art form of sculpting soundscapes and examined the symbiotic relationship between pictures and sound. Providing insights into the creative process of some of Hollywood’s most innovative composers, we learned how technology is enabling more diverse soundscapes. Moderated by Chris Douridas of KCRW the evening featured composers and sound artists from film, television and the commercial world, including Cliff Martinez (The Fifth Element) and Dustin O’Halloran (Lion).
