In Conversation with Moby

June 28, 2016

A devout Christian, vegan, straight white kid from the suburbs, growing up Moby was an unlikely candidate to rise to international music superstardom. In his new memoir, Porcelain, the iconic musician recounts his path from suburban poverty and alienation to a life of beauty, squalor and success in the NYC club scene of the late ‘80s and ‘90s. An animal activist, newly minted restauranteur and recent Los Angeles transplant, members joined Moby for a special conversation about finding your place and yourself, losing both, and then returning from the brink to create a masterpiece.
