Book Launch:
THE FUZZY AND THE TECHIE

Madison Square

April 25, 2017

Scott Hartley’s book THE FUZZY AND THE TECHIE: Why the Liberal Arts Will Rule the Digital World looks at the faux opposition between “fuzzies” (arts, humanities, social sciences) and “techies” (engineering and computer sciences). As a tech venture capitalist and someone who has worked at Google and Facebook, Hartley myth-busts the belief that tech is a monolith, and argues that we cannot have a technical education without the Liberal Arts. The talk featured the author’s unique perspective on today’s development of business ideas in conversation with General Assembly’s Matthew Brimer.
