Madame Gandhi, former drummer for M.I.A. and current LA-based musician and activist, explored the power of story and creativity to catalyze change and build community. Howl for Change’s Jacques Thelemaque guided the discussion, followed by a poetry reading by Ms. Wise and musical performance by Madame Gandhi with drinks and DJ Deep Twerk on the decks to cap the night.
