Tamtam’s Rise with Meshal Al jaser

Members enjoyed an evening of performance and discussion with Saudi-born singer-songwriter Tamtam and award-winning Saudi director and filmmaker Meshal Al jaser. There were screenings of the premiere of Tamtam’s music video Rise which addresses arranged marriages and Al jaser’s acclaimed short film, Under Concrete, followed by a conversation, moderated by CEO of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, Madeline Di Nonno, and to conclude was a live performance by Tamtam.
