Studio Visit: Bosco Sodi

Tucked away on an unassuming pier in Red Hook, artist Bosco Sodi’s studio looks more like an aircraft hangar than a place for art making. The square footage isn’t an unnecessary luxury, considering the amount of space required to create the mammoth alien landscapes that he is known for. His paintings are the result of science-like experiments with organic and inorganic materials that can weigh as much as 450kg. NeueHouse members and friends joined for a private studio visit and vino with Bosco.
